For a number of years it has been possible to order teeth whitening sets for home. The guidelines, which among other things regulate the concentration of active substances and apply to the entire EU, are relatively strict. Therefore, the products are considered safe for self-use.
The teeth are brushed beforehand, then the tooth whitening gel is applied to the dental splint and inserted into the mouth. After the LED lamp has been switched on, it takes about 30 minutes until you can rinse your mouth again and the application is completed.
At the dentist, the process is similar, but the products used differ. If you would like more detailed information, please ask for a dental consultation about the procedure. Not every dentist offers whitening and the procedures can also differ.
