Then you can buy a set together - one for everyone, so to speak - and use it alternately. The mouthpiece is easy to clean and can therefore be used hygienically by several users. If that's too much of a good thing for you, you can also buy a set and order additional mouth trays individually. Then everyone has their own splint and shares the rest of the accessories (LED lamp, teeth whitening gel) with the others.

Proper maintenance of a common mouth guard

Let's be honest: a common teeth whitening tray - isn't that disgusting? With the right care, sharing is no problem! You can easily prepare the splint for the next user in 3 steps:

• Step 1: Remove product residues from the rail after use. You can do this with a cloth or clean the mouthpiece under running water.
• Step 2: Brush over the material with an (unused) toothbrush and a small blob of normal toothpaste. After about a minute, wash off the foam.
• Step 3: Let the splint dry well. After cleaning, it is best to leave the mouth guard to dry open overnight. If moisture remains, germs can multiply better - this must be avoided.

When you have followed these steps, the splint is ready for the next use. By the way, you should avoid using special cleaning tablets (such as for dentures). They can attack and damage the material.
